Title: Texas First Saturday of Spring Ride March 21, 2015
Post by: 96viffer on February 05, 2015, 04:20:27 pm: This year’s ride, weather permitting, will be on March 21^st. We’ll once again ride to Horny Toad Bar & Grill (http://www.hornytoadbar.com/ (http://www.hornytoadbar.com/)) in Cranfills Gap for lunch. Here are the ride details, which are subject to change:

DFW Group Meet Up
Ride organizer: Ken Bowen
Where: Venus Exxon/Whataburger
When: 9 a.m., kickstands up at 9:30, full tanks
Route map: See attached gdb file.
Additional info: We will pass thru Grandview about 10 if anyone wants to hook up there, but we won't be stopping. Can do all or part of this route. It's different from last year.

Austin Group Meet Up
Ride organizer: Choon Gan
Where: Cedar Park Exxon SE corner of 183/1431
When: 8 a.m., kickstands up at 8:15, full tanks

GPS file available on request.
Additional info: Out bound leg is 152 miles. We’ll have a planned stop at the Shell Stn in Kempner.

For those of you who can’t ride with either group, you can meet us at Horny Toad at 11:30 a.m.

I hope to be able to attend next year as I have friends in Houston I can base from......need to get our of the snow!! :(

Works for me. I'm back from Big Bend now (rain and fog out there too), so hopefully, I can attend. I just have to find Venus. :D

We had a blast ... looking forward to doing it again next year :)
