Yes, you can change your settings here:
http://ridemsta.com/mstaforums/index.php?action=profile;area=notification

You can also go to your profile, then under the modify profile tab, click notifications. You can then select how or if you are notified of posts.

Thanks again, Jay. I unchecked the last two choices, so I'll see if I keep getting notifications when I post.

Still getting email copies of what I posted. I saved the changes to my notifications. I wonder if I have to log out and back in before it will take effect?

Ok, I did that and then went back to Notify. I am trying to get it to notify me when someone else posts, but not when I do.

Thanks.

I believe that is a setting you cannot change. If you have notifications set to on, it will always sendemail a copy of your post as verification that the notification system is working.

Could be. It looks somewhat like the forum software we use on the yamahasupertenere.com forum and with that if I click Notify, it only sends me an email that someone else has posted and doesn’t include the text of their message and it doesn't notify me that I have posted. . Overall, not a big problem, as the speed is so much better, I can live with that.
