North Georgia Classic 2019

Hey Guys and Gals,
  Another Springtime in the mountains awaits.  Rooms set aside at Quality Inn, 706 878-2268, previously Alphenof Motel.  Room rates are $99.00 plus taxes, for the weekend of 26-28 April 2019.  Please mention MSTA when registering. 
  Looking forward to seeing everyone after a rainy, cold winter.

Leaving out tomorrow morning behind most of the rain.  May be some light showers along the way. It'll still be a fun ride.  But a GREAT weekend after that!

Oh hell I thought Doug and I rode some great roads getting here... today We rode the best of the best! From Helen 197 to Warwoman, 28 up to Highland, NC to and exploratory road which bypassed most of Highlands and was fantastic! Probably more curves than Deals Gap!!! Then 28 which has fresh pavement and over to Wayahbald which also has new pavement... and on and on. See it here: https://www.relive.cc/view/rt10004812520

When I retire I'm going to attend every one of these events...

I miss Helen, enjoyed going long ago (early 2000s) for a couple of my first times riding in the SE (including 28, Gap, Cherohala, etc.).
