Although our numbers have recently dwindled due to attrition the LA chapter is still kicking. We still have a small core of lifers who will ride till the end. We had a fair turnout for our annual early spring ride to Big Bend which entailed some fancy dancing with widespread rains showers. Nevertheless a great time was had by all... at least most.

Attempts to do informal lunch rides this spring have resulted in only two or three riders showing up until this past weekend (May 9) when 8 riders showed up for a ride up the west banks of  the Mighty Mississippi and Bayou Plaquemine  and a great lunch in New Roads at Hot Tails restaurant.
