MSTA Blue Book
« on: May 21, 2017, 10:40:43 am »
I downloaded the 2017 BlueBook and noticed under life members that Gregg Mitchell is missing.
He's also not listed as a member in the Michigan section.
I contacted Gregg and he told me as far as he now's he's still a life member.
He's never been contacted about his membership.
He said he no longer has access to the members section of the forum

What's going on here.
A member is a member.

I know that there's been controversy over the Michigan group and a lot of people blame Gregg, however that's not the total picture.
There were several Michigan members involved in that fiasco and Gregg had stepped away from it.

You can't just erase a life member.

Looking for an explanation.

Good catch.  I just sent Don a note to correct this.  Only explanation I can give is that there are still some memberships that are messed up.  The membership committee is correcting these as they become aware of them.  I'm sure that this was totally unintentional and also quite sure that it is not the only mistake that will be found.  Fortunately the way it is configured now, this is realitively easy to correct and make right.

I'm responsible for that. Because he was not on the last membership list I suggested to Bob that he should be removed from members only. My apologies.  We'll fix it.
