Parting Out 2007 BMW K1200GT
« on: July 27, 2018, 08:11:02 AM »
:-[   I have a complete 2007 BMW K1200GT with 68,000 miles that I want to part out. Color is blue will be selling everything for reasonable prices (Not giving it away) need the money to put toward another bike... Why am I parting it out you ask? Cam Chain Guide broke and cam chain jumped and wadded up, so valve train in the engine is questionable at best, cost to fix is more than the bike is worth whole. Engine cases and most bolt on parts should be fine. Tires have less than 1,000 miles on them. Final drive was rebuilt at 28,000 miles (The week before I bought is and has been trouble free since I bought it. Had an issue with the front end at about 55,000 miles and the entire front end was rebuilt (By BMW in Riverside CA), new ball joints, and front wheel bearings. Bike has Galfer rotors on the front. The only item I might keep is the Rick Mayer seat (I am looking at a 1300 and if I get it I will install the seat on it. So if you know anyone who needs parts, plastics, wheels, tires, final drive, ANY parts from a complete bike..... Please send me an e-mail 92vmax@imcnet.net or leave me a PM and reply to this thread.

I am located in Warrensburg Missouri (About an hour East of Kansas City), so shipping from there or pick up in person. I will post pictures later when I pick up the bike from the dealer.

I would entertain $2,000 for the bike complete without the seat.
