STAR 2022 will be held at the Drury Plaza Hotel Cape Girardeau Conference Center, 3351 Percy Dr, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701, USA
The MSTA National Rally. STAR= Sport Touring Association Rendezvous.
Officially opening up on Sunday evening and closing on Wednesday evening with a banquet. However, many people come in early on the Friday or Saturday before that Sunday and stay until the Thursday after the banquet.
On and Off-Road routes will be available.
Registration will include the Tuesday Lunch Ride, the Wednesday evening banquet, door prizes, and a goodie bag for all attendees.
The hotel serves an evening happy hour every day that includes drinks and some food. This is part of your room rate.

After you are registered for the rally you will get an email with the link for online reservations at the discounted rate. There is also the phone number and group rate code in the email. We want to avoid people reserving rooms in the block and then never actually coming to the rally.
We’ve experienced that in the past where people reserve rooms, just in case they might decide to come to the rally, then decide at the last minute not to come and cancel the rooms. Meanwhile, people get register for the event, contact the hotel, and are told that there are no rooms in the block still available. Then those people cancel their registration for the event.
So we decide that we will only give out the group rate code AFTER someone actually registers for the event.

Hmmm… I don’t recall having to use a code to get my room after I registered for the event. I wonder if I got the event rate. Perhaps I’ll call and see.
