Bufalojump:
Well I've been debating about this for awhile and I decided to pull the trigger.

This is the Muggle Ride or Do you believe in magic.

Going to Colon MI for the Magic Festival.

This will be the last day of the festival, but there are going to be street performers and this is a competion day for them until 4:00PM.

Hey Steve,
Great idea. Unfortunately, I'll be unable to make the meeting and ride that weekend. May I make a suggestion on your route? Instead of going down Clear Lake Rd. and getting on I-94, take a right on Trist (which then changes to Seymour) and stay on it all the way through past Portage Lake, etc. Seymour Road will take you right to M-10. See this

Hi Steve,
As it stands right now, I will ride out with you and depart company after Colon, Mi. to the west. If I am going to go that far across the state, might as well pick up the New Buffalo check point in the process.  :D

Bob

Bufalojump:
Hello All,

I do not think I will be able to lead the ride on Saturday.

On Thursday the 17th I got poison ivy.  I had a pretty bad allergic reaction and my vision is impaired by swelling in my left eye.

Not sure if anyone is interested in leading.  I have attached my notes and the Google Map routes are attached above.

Rx_Mich:
LOL ... just got over poison oak myself. Got it to go away in less than 7 days by washing the skin repeatedly as below.

As soon as you can, wash the area (not in the eye) with straight Murphy's Oil Soap. for 15 -20 minutes at least 4 times a day Then rinse with plain water. It's an oil based soap and will absorb from the skin the Urushiol oil (poison ivy allergen) from the skin. Regular soap doesn't do such a good job in removing it.There is a product called Zanfel that does the same thing for $50.00 but Murphy's works as well for a lot less. Time is of the essence. The longer it is exposed to the skin, the more that absorbs into the lower layers of the skin.

That should be your profile pic now Steve! :P
