So, what app are you using on your smartphone for weather advisories?  I remember at the Star 2013 banquet, everyone's phone was going off nearly in unison with that unique warning sound.

Weather Undeground, WeatherBug and The Weather Channel on iOS devices. Don't know about Android apps.

I like "Weather Underground" for forecasts and "My Radar" for national radar. -JEP-

Radar Now for Android. Opens with radar loop. Has Alerts and Hourly temp and rain forecast.
