Lithium Batteries: What You Need To Know
« on: February 22, 2015, 01:16:58 PM »

Lithium batteries are often misunderstood. They are a great option and I hope this article helps clear a few things up. If you are considering an upgrade to a lithium battery, definitely read this first.

One other brand to consider: Earth-X.  Made in the USA, internal circuitry to balance the cells and prevent overcharging or total discharge.  Excellent customer service.  Expensive (they all are) but worth it in my opinion.

Deltran is marketing a line of LiFePO  batteries as well.  They are significantly cheaper than the comparable Shorai. I put one in my Ducati and am getting much faster and more reliable starts than three different lead-acid batteries that I tried.
