  • It AIN'T the destination, it IS the RIDE!
Summer in NC
« on: July 18, 2017, 06:06:38 am »
The roads that most guys run around Big Lynn are in my back yard which I ride all the time.  Good news is that there are a lot of repaved roads in the area.  The not so good news is it has been hit by a lot of afternoon thunderstorms.  That is kinda the norm for summer in the NC mountains.  That also means lots of gravel wash outs near driveways and in turns.  Lately it seems that there is more gravel in the turns than in previous years.  Still great riding but be careful.
Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!

Thanks for the heads-up! Good to hear about the new pavement.
