Why we wanted 2020 Event information so soon
« on: November 01, 2019, 10:18:53 PM »
We have taken all of the event dates and put them out on 4 separate platforms that we hope will reach thousands of potential event participants.  First off, we have put all of the event dates into the calendar on this MSTA forum.  Secondly we made up individual Facebook “Event” pages.  Next, we are putting all of that information on a Google MSTA Events calendar that is being shared with the website www.theridingobsession.com.  Finally, we are sharing all of the event information with the BMWRA and they are adding it to their events listings and calendar that appears in their bi-monthly magazine and on their website.

Our hope is that this will all lead to larger crowds at our regional events and STAR in 2020, and ultimately more people joining the club as full members.

Coordinators:  we will add additional information to those listing as we get it, so please send any information you want to share.....hotel info, registration links, websites and Facebook links, route info, etc.......to me and I’ll make sure it gets out there.

Thanks!

Just a thought but ...
Keeping track of multiple calendars can add that much more hair to the bubble gum.
I'm chiming in just to suggest you be sure everything gets updated, everywhere, immediately after a single calendar gets a change.

Could be feasible for your site and BMW Riders site, probably not for Facebook pages.

Will I as an event coordinator have access/control over my events Facebook page?

Yes. I revised the 2020 Shenandoah Spring Romp information earlier today.
