Maps of where you've traveled
« on: January 15, 2015, 12:40:20 pm »
I've seen several posters here with a map in their signature that shows what states they've been to and I think that is really cool. I've started looking through some that exist and found one so far that looks interesting but it seems to be more of a one time entry and generate a picture style. Not a database you create (tied to some account, email, etc.) that can be maintained and updated regularly.
Here is one I was looking at, can somebody suggest a better one.

I think when you get one... You add it your email signature.

That one didn't work for me when I tried it just now. All states show white/unvisited.

Although the other website did generate the correct image, I found that this forum does not allow such images in the signature block :(

However, here's my graphic, if you're interested:

Thanks for the feedback guys I'll look into these more. I guess what I'm wondering is, is there a place where I set up an account, enter my info and can update the states I visited when I have new ones. Don't want to have to start from scratch everytime I have a new state to add.
Donmoe,
On the one at epgsoft.com there was a link (labeled "click here") to select the states you've visited. It also mentioned clicking on the states so I presume there is a map present but I didn't see it (older version of IE which sometimes has issues).  Yep confirmed in Chrome I get a map and then click the states to include them. I'd post my map, but need to deal with image linking here (must be on the web somewhere, would be nice if I can just link to a picture on my computer).

PS  This does look like the maps I've seen several users on this forum displaying. Maybe they just deal with redoing it each time they add states.
