Correct Bro. Just black, tri-fold and the logo in Red I think. I'll try and remember to take a picture or 2 tonight and post.

August 10th -  Hats update.  I am told they will ship from the factory tomorrow.  Once Dan receives them, they will be mailed to all who have already ordered and paid.  So, hopefully just another week or two.  (Seems like I said that a week or too ago)!  People are busy, people travel, ... the hats will arrive!  I will try to arrange for a picture of the hat to be posted soon.

You can see what the hat looks like on our photo site.
They are a "dri-fi" material and the bill folds into thirds making the hat an easy fit ito your pocket when riding. -JEP-

I mailed my check in a few days ago so hopefully Dan has received it by now.....Glad there was a opportunity to buy these as they really are nice for using while riding as they fold up to fit in your tank bag, pocket, etc. and are very light weight. I hope they are offered again at next years STAR.

FWIW
I purchased one of the MSTA caps as I had first-hand experience with their versatility. The first year Buell had the Ulysses in their lineup, they were offering test rides. I took a ride (I liked the bike overall, but it didn't have the grunt I expected for a 1200cc engine), and as a bonus, they gave you a Buell cap that had a single hinge down the middle of the bill. They used it to highlight their "out of the box" way of thinking. I've been using that cap and enjoying its versatility for years.

I probably won't have anything to do with ordering caps next year, but I am curious...
Would you rather have a non-event MSTA club cap as was the one this year, or would you rather have one that was an event specific cap (STAR 2017)?

I would like to see more MSTA stuff, i. e. build the "brand".  I have a bizillion tee shirts already.

I for one would like to see non-event club gear as well. I like the hat, and if there are any leftovers, might get a second one.

This rapidly became my favorite cap for summertime. I really like the style.  I am also a fan of the MSTA logo on it.

STAR logos have varied, some I prefer over others. Variety is good, though.

One thing I really like is being able to see the logo design before ordering the shirt/hat.

It would be nice to have them before Mail Pouch Fly In. I sent a PM to Diane asking her to post when the hats are actually being mailed. That should  help all and avoid additional posts on this.

Hey that's an idea. Maybe one of the officers who might be attending MPFB might bring a couple with them , saves on postage! That would be cool!!

[..Maybe one of the officers who might be attending MPFB might bring a couple with them , saves on postage!...]

My guess is that such a plan would quickly become a logistical nightmare.  Putting them in the US mail ensures that everyone will get their hat plus it's a lot less hassle for those volunteers who are handling this task.

Hi Dianne,

Any idea if there are extras available? I wouldn't mind a second one.
