Moonshine Lunch Run 2018

The 14th Annual, and final offical Moonshine Lunch Run is April 14, 2018 in Moonshine, IL.  If you have wanted to go, but not made it yet, better get things lined up!  Don't know about the MLR? Check out their site here: linky


This will be my 11th time attending with my youngest daughter. It has been a great bonding and growing time for us over the years. It also happens to fall on her birthday weekend, and we have enjoyed sharing that with the numerous friends we have made there.


We will be staying at the Lincoln Inn in nearby Marshal, Il. So if you happen to make it, look us up!

Yea I tried to attend twice and both times we turned around because of COLD. Not going to be there this year either. Oh well.
I’m just happy as HELL that I’m back riding again!!

Terry Hammond, the founder of the MLR, would say "If you don't make it to Moonshine,,, you ain't a Motorcycle Rider,,, you're just a Motorcycle Owner!!!" and  "Never too cold,,, never too far,,, never too wet!!!"


Having said that, several of our rides to Moonshine have been.... memorable, to say the least!  Just last year, we left on Thursday night to head over, in a nasty rain storm.  We returned to home and rode over on Friday.


Hopefully, the weather will cooperate this year, but the last few weeks haven't been giving me "warm-fuzzies"!

I won't make it this year and I'm sorry to hear it's the last one but certainly understandable.
I hope the weather is great, the burgers are cooked perfectly and the roads are clear sailing!
