Welcome! We’ve a few people up in your neck of the woods.  If you go to the downloads you should see a link where you can download the Bluebook.  It’s our member directory.  It was last updated last year, but should be updated again very shortly.  Don Moe, Membership, is working on that right now.

Hello Greek001
I just checked my 2019 Bluebook, but did not see any listings for Maine. I know we have some members in the New England states.
Check STAReview for a list of our regional events. Of course Covid19 has caused cancellations. But as things settle down, consider attending a regional event or better yet consider our National Rally. This year STAR 2020 has been rescheduled for Sept 6-10 in Cape Girardeau, MO. Online Registration is open now. The Drury Plaza and Convention Center is our Host Hotel Call 573-334-7151 ask for a room in the MSTA BLOCK for the reduced rate of $115.99.
Welcome to the club.

Welcome from Tennessee. I had plans to be up  your way on the way to, and coming home from, a trip across eastern Canada. Plans included a trip to Acadia National Park and other sites as well. I have no idea if that's going to happen now or not. If the border isn't open, it won't. We'll see.

From your lips (fingers) to God's ears.  I'm not even that keen on going out for long rides under these conditions, I've had some time off work as we like many businesses struggle and have done about 250 miles (usually a below average day ride) on 3 separate day rides that combined hiking and picnic lunches.

Some of our local riders have done the same thing. We've been picking out destinations such as waterfalls, state natural areas, etc., and carrying a lunch with us. Last week we rode to Elk River Falls (short hike from the parking lot) in the NW corner of North Carolina. The whole day was just barely over 300 miles. Yesterday we rode over to a COE dam in middle Tennessee. Nothing special, but there were some very pleasant roads between here and there. From my house, it was a skosh over 300 mile. A few weeks ago we rode to another waterfall less than 100 miles from here. but it included a 2 mile hike.
