No excuse for next year :)

Will say that I previewed them this past week and they are as great as they were the 2 times I was there in April too.

Kudos to the person that made the video, and it sounds like a great place for a Star. If the good Lord leaves me here, I'll be there!! ;D

That first video was played at the hotel at STAR this week. At first I thought it was the high speed
section of AR 123. Now I'm thinking it is AR 341.

Anyway, I'm super excited to have the 2015 STAR in the Ozarks. :)

The second video is on 123, heading south from Mount Judea.

I missed the member's meeting at STAR, too busy riding :-) I believe prez Dennis said that Norm Kern helped or made the video. I just watched it and look forward to attending. Still out west riding, git into out hotel near Bozeman MT. Really chilly today a lot of snow all over the mountains of Wyoming and Montana.

if you are wanting some info on the area around Springdale, and what the Ozarks have to offer in the way of riding, here some sites worth checking out....

www.motorcyclearkansas.com

www.touringtheozarks.com

www.eurekaspringsmotorcyclerides.com

www.motorcycleozarks.com

those are just a few that a quick google search of Ozark motorcycle routes brought up

I believe that "Mad Maps" also has a map for the region AND our friends at Road Runner have done several feature articles on riding that area, so you can try them as well for more information
not all that wander are lost

Hmm, I may have to seriously consider STAR 2015. Our MI Squadron does a Mo-Ark madness trip yearly, which I've never made. I hear the roads in Arkansas are just stupendous - but really hard on tires.

Will have a conflict with work, so won't make this one. Was bound to happen when we moved our Software User's Conference from August to June 5+ years ago (have been lucky since then).

You want to be sure and have fresh rubber. The chip seal they use on the road surface is super
grippy but does increase tire wear by 10-20% compared to road surfaces here in MN, IA, and WI.
