Welcome from SW Ohio. I sure hope you and yours have avoided and damage from the Helene. I've watched many videos (including the C-10 rally in the rain) and the water and damage was a bit much.  Hope to meet ya down the road. BTW, many of us are old farts (can I say that?) and we're still riding too. TM

PS, just read your notes and you Sir are a hoot!! Looks like you will fit in nicely.  Welcome again.

Maggie Valley was fairly lucky although a few homes and business's did get flooded but nothing like the devastation in and near Asheville. I recently saw an estimate that Helene dropped 40 trillion gallons o water. 40 TRILLION.

The creek in our front yard now looks very different. We could hear rocks and boulders tumbling in the water. Sounded like distant thunder or bowling balls dropping down stairs. Some of them must weigh a couple of tons.

To get an email notification Click PROFILE > MODIFY PROFILE > NOTIFICATIONS and check:
 Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic. Then Click the SAVE SETTINGS button on the left
