Happy New Year from the EC!
The EC met on 1/5/26. The next meeting will be held on Monday 1/26/26 at 7:30 PM (EST) The first EC meeting for 2026 included a very busy agenda focused on exciting plans for the new year.
MSTA Universal calling cards have been designed and printed and are now available from Rob Milton.
The new marketing brochure is in its final revisions, and Norm Kern and Susan Ahn met with STAReview editor Chris Parker this week to discuss final draft details before the brochures go to the printer.
Jerry James, Norm Kern and Susan Ahn are collaborating with Patrick Elward and Pat Mogavero on revisions to the website to make it easier to use and more inviting for new members with the goal of timing the changes with the release of the new brochure.
Mathew Cohen, our new director for Canada, joined the EC meeting to share ideas he has for expanding MSTA membership into Canada. Matt and his spouse are well connected in the Toronto area and he has some exciting ideas that will continue to be discussed.

The MSTA FB group has about 16,700 members as of 1/6/26. A reminder that Norm Kern hosts a private MSTA Members Volunteers group with 116 current members. If you would like to be part of this group, contact Norm via email at nkernmsta@gmail.com
STAR News:
Jerry James reported much progress with STAR 2026 planning. He has lined up Bill & Susan Dragoo as the featured speakers, is working on logos for the event and has been meeting with business leaders in the area. STAR 2026 promises to be one of the best
STAR events to date. Mark your calendars early. STAR 2026 IS IN SPRINGDALE, ARKANSAS ON OCTOBER 17-21, 2026.

New MSTA Member List Downloadable File (Not the Blue Book but close!)
Many members have expressed the desire for a printable MSTA directory. Business Manager Kelly Ernst has graciously agreed to create a printable current member directory, sorted by state with members listed alphabetically by last name. Members who have declined to have their information published are not included. The directory includes first & last name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, & email. A link to the directory will accompany each of the Email Blasts sent out in January, April, July, and October.
As of 1/6/26 2025 MSTA has 1049 paid members.
