The name of this Rally says it all! TriSTAR is named for its un ique location in Sparta, NC which is a quaint town located just off the Bl ue Ridge Parkway. Sparta NC is a stone’s throw from Virginia and Tennessee so riders can enjoy the beauty of all three states in the same ride. Sparta is a small town with a population of about 2000. Despite its small size, there are plenty of things to do when not riding. Sparta has several restau rants, a great brewery, downtown shopping, and more. Of course, riding is the highlight of coming to Sparta. Within a mile of the Alleghany Inn, our host hotel, the twisties begin and never end. Nearby riding attraction s include the Back of the Dragon between Marion, NC, and Tazewell, VA, the Blue Ridge Parkway accessed from either end of Sparta, Burke’s Garden , VA, and Shady Valley, TN, gateway to the Snake. For people interested in ADV riding, there will be GPS Tracks available for three excellent ADV rides. You can either pick from one of the Road or ADV routes that are prov ided or simply explore the area. You won’t be disappointed! There will be a Ice Cream Social Meet and Greet on Saturday evening @ 7pm in the pavilion behind the lodg e for all attendees. This is included in your registration fee at no additi onal charge. It will include ice cream bars and pops, coffee, hot tea, P epsi products and bottled water.
There will be cold bottled water a t the entrance to the lodge. We will once again provide coolers and ice for your beverages in the evenings at the lodge.
There will be a desig nated bike wash area with soap, water, and rags provided.
GPX files for the routes, along with descriptions, will be provided onlin e in the event website. We will also have some limited GPS help available during registration.
Check-in and registration will be held in the lobby of the lodge.
There is seating on the front stoop of t he lodge and behind the lodge for evening socializing. The rear of the lodg e has firepits if it is cool enough. The resort has both an indoor and outd oor pool, a golf course and driving range, hiking trails, and additional activities for times when you are off the bike.
The resort has a d ining room, a snack bar, and a bar/lounge area. All of them serve food. Gas, a convenient store, and additional dining options are only 2-3 miles from the entrance to the park.
Davis and Thomas , WV are only 10- 12 miles north of the park. Thet have additional restaurants, a brewery, and grocery shopping. The Big Lynn Lo dge is located on a mountain ridge right next to the Blue Ridge Parkway, a few miles south of Spruce Pine, North Carolina. It is one of the most bea utiful settings you will find for a place to stay. There are fantastic road s in every direction from the doorstep of the lodge. Every guest has breakf ast and dinner included with their room and everyone dines together for bot h meals. Food is healthy and tasty with soft drinks and desserts, which in clude homemade pies. This area has some exceptional technical routes, both pavement and dirt, created by Doug Pippin. They are some of the best you will ride anywhere, ever. As if all of that is not enough, there will be entertainment on Friday night. Almost Vintage will play out on the back por ch. Once again, the BLL Ride will have available Anne-Marie LaFrance, a p rofessional massage therapist, so attendees can sign up for a free twenty- minute massage on Friday and Saturday afternoon. The 3rd installment of the Sky High Tour takes us to Estes Park, Colorado. This is a Just for Fun Event. The plan is to enter Rocky Mountain National Park and ride Trail Ridge Road to the K awuneeche Visitor Center. The return back to Estes Park may have a stop for a late lunch at the Restaurant at the the Alpine Visitor Center at the Fal l River Pass.
There will need to be Timed Entry reservations made for en trance into the Park. Typically we do the 10:00am - 12:00pm window. I will post the link when it becomes available.
I have already made my reservat ion at the motel. Rooms with a single King bed or 2 Queens beds are $135.00 to $140.00.
This is a very touristy area. I highly recommend booking yo ur rooms ASAP. The closer to warm weather, the prices may Sky rocket.

The 2025 edition of the Bull Shoals Rally is on! As al ways, rally HQ is at the Theodosia Marina-Resort on Bull Shoals Lake. The Ozarks BS Rally kicks off around 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a gourmet wiener roast. There is always plenty of food and nobody goes away hungry. Saturday morning around 6 a.m., a special breakfast buffet is set up at Cookie’s R estaurant, next to the hotel and campground. Saturday is the main riding d ay and there are several great routes to choose from. Saturday evening ther e is a banquet with plenty of good food and door prizes. Event registration will be open soon. By pre-registering you allow the event coordinator to p lan on food and other event supplies, etc. So please pre-register! Come and sample some of Colorado’s world-famous road ways in the southwest corner of the state. Experience high mountain passes , deep red rock canyons, via peaceful and scenic 2-lane roads with very fe w traffic lights. Visit historic western towns, even ghost towns, and pla yed out silver and gold mines. Come and ride the “Million Dollar Highway.” Enjoy such roads as CO-145 between the towns of Delores and Telluride over Lizard Head Pass. Do you want more curves? Ride US-160 between Pagosa Sprin gs and South Fork via Wolf Creek Pass. Check in on T hursday and depart on Sunday morning, which will give you two full days of riding and exploring the area. The Fall Colors Rally has been a long running tradition in MSTA. Lewisburg, WV, has proven to be a great location- easy to reach from all directions and close to lots of great rid ing. We have been fortunate to have a good relationship with the Quality In n hotel, which has provided us with a reasonable cost and good accommodati ons for many years. 2025 will mark the 31st anniversary for the MSTA Texas Hill Country Rally. Come on down and enjoy s ome of the very finest roads in the state and well-known Texas hospitality. The Byway Boogie event is over 30 y ears old and has been held in various locations throughout central and NW A rkansas. This year’s event will return to its starting place in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Hot Springs Village is a gated unincorporated communit y of approximately 16k residents majestically located on the south edge of the Ouachita National Forest and about 10-15 miles north of Hot Springs and the National Park. We come to ride! But there is some scenic stuff too. Fo r the street riders, you can ride over the highest point in the state at M ount Magazine (2753 ft), through the Petit Jean State Park, or just the m ountain passes that lace the countryside. Wanta get dirty? We got that too! Bring your ADV bike and cris-cross the landscape with views of Lake Ouachi ta “Wash AH TAW” and other scenic vistas along the way. Payment will be made directly to the host venue. The roo m block is currently limited to 20 rooms. The hotel management has committe d to the room rate as long as rooms are available. The HSV Inn is a locally owned and operated facility that serves the area and community, as the ne xt closest hotel is approximately 10-15 miles away. The hotel staff pride t hemselves on a clean efficient facility and has completed guest room and lo bby area remodel in the last year. Please use MSTA in your reservation comm unications.
