The Ride for Kids, which raises money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, is the chosen charity of the MSTA. Every year, through donations from our members, we raise thousands of dollars for this worthy cause. The Ride for Kids was founded by former MSTA members Mide and Dianne Traynor in 1984. The success of the Rides led to Mike founding the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, which has raised millions and millions of dollars to be used in the quest to find a cure for childhood brain cancers. We support Mike’s vision and the foundation’s goal of eliminating childhood cancers. Geoffrey Greene is our coordinator for our participation in this fight. He can be found at many of our events selling 50-50 raffle tickets, with the proceeds being donated to the foundation. In addition, many of our events use there proceeds to support this cause.
