North Georgia Classic Rally
April 26-23, 2024
Dillard, Georgia
(Just For Fun: Road, ADV)
A long-standing Southeastern tradition for the MSTA, we kick-off the riding season in style at the North Georgia Classic. This year, we will rally for three days out of one of our historical locations, a “Classic” spot…if you will. The quiet town of Dillard in beautiful Rabun County will play host this year. We have successfully held this event in Dillard previously, as well as our famous Dual Sport gathering, and we look forward to returning. (Helen has been a great location in the past, but sometimes a little change is good.) The mountains are calling, come ring in the new riding year with us!

Tusky – Musky Rally
May 3-5, 2024
New Philadelphia, Ohio
(Just For Fun: Road)
From the heart of Tuscarawas County come ride the curvy scenic roads of eastern Ohio. Amish Country and the Ohio Valley from Mohican State Park to the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia feature plenty of hills and rivers but very few straight roads. This is an area that many Columbus, Ohio area MSTA members have ridden for years, so there will be plenty of well-planned routes available, and now we can do it all weekend without logging the mileage back home every day. Road and ADV routes are being planned, so if you know some secret cool roads or great lunch destinations pass them along.

Tri-STAR Rally

(MSTA Sanctioned: Road, ADV)
Registration: While this rally does not require MSTA membership, it is an MSTA-Sanctioned event with registration and fees. Please

fees: MSTA member $30, MSTA life/sustaining member $28, Non MSTA member $35. Add $5 for onsite registration at the event.
The name of this Rally says it all! TriSTAR is named for its unique location in Sparta, NC which is a quaint town located just off the
Blue Ridge Parkway. Sparta NC is a stone’s throw from Virginia and Tennessee so riders can enjoy the beauty of all three states in the
same ride. Sparta is a small town with a population of about 2000. Despite its small size, there are plenty of things to do when not
riding. Sparta has several restaurants, a great brewery, downtown shopping, and more. Of course, riding is the highlight of coming to Sparta. Within a mile of the Alleghany Inn, our host hotel, the twisties begin and never end. Nearby riding attractions include the
Back of the Dragon between Maron NC and Tazewell VA, the Blue Ridge Parkway accessed from either end of Sparta, Burkes Garden VA, and Shady Valley, gateway to the Snake. For people interested in ADV riding, there will be GPS Tracks available for three excellent ADV rides. You can either pick from one of the Road or ADV routes that are provided or simply explore the area. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks to new Sparta resident and event coordinator Lou Laguna, TriSTAR will be moving from a J.F.F. gathering to a full
rally, and there are other big changes coming. Just a few of the things to expect: a covered outdoor lounge for gathering and socializing, catered dinner on Saturday night, free shuttle service to and from the local eateries on Thursday and Friday evening, ice cream social on Sunday afternoon.
