For MSTA members who want to enjoy a few more motorcycle-related gatherings before the year ends, the Florida chapter of the MSTA has four meetups scheduled for the next five weeks.
The first of those events takes place Saturday, Nov. 7, at Havana Café of the Everglades (191 Smallwood Dr., Chokoloskee, FL). Plan to arrive at the eatery by noon Eastern. The MSTA Florida Chapter newsletter, The Florida Gator Tale, says the restaurant’s, “decor and menu are not to be missed.”
The following weekend’s meetup location is Eaton’s Beach Sandbar & Grill at 15790 SE 104th Ave. in Weirsdale, Fla., on Nov. 14. The Florida Gator Tale reported that this is a new location for the central Florida lunch ride and that it’s not far from one of the better motorcycling roads in the Sunshine State – SR 42. The event kicks off at noon Eastern.
The third and final event in November starts at noon Eastern on Nov. 27 (Black Friday) at Goodrich Seafood Restaurant (253 River Rd., Oak Hill, FL). Expect good food and scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The Florida Gator Tale reports the parking lot is unpaved, so kickstand pads will likely be in order.

In December, the chapter’s Holiday Lunch Ride returns to Jay Bees Restaurant and Lounge for the second consecutive year on Dec. 5. The restaurant is at 8625 SR 60 in Lake Wales, Fla., and the event gets underway at noon Eastern. The Florida Gator Tale reports that a, “Santa Van,” may have some free stuff to give away to attendees.
